3.Application of nitinol
(1) One-way shape recovery using one-way shape memory effect. Such as pipe joint, antenna, sleeve ring and so on.
(2) External bidirectional memory recovery. That is, the use of one-way shape memory effect and with the help of external forces with the temperature rise and fall to do repeated action, such as thermal sensors, robots, terminals, etc.
(3) Endogenous bidirectional memory recovery. That is, the use of two-way memory effect with the temperature rise and fall to do repeated action, such as heat engine, heat sensitive elements. But this kind of application memory decay fast, reliability is poor, not commonly used.
(4) The application of hyperelasticity. Such as spring, terminal post, glasses frame, self - controlled temperature switch. The 20th century was the age of mechatronics.
